Dr. Kamal Ahmed graduated from medical school in 1983 from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and his Nephrology Fellowship Training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His areas of interest include Chronic Kidney Disease management and dialysis therapy. His passion in life center around medicine, travel, and volunteerism. In addition, he has been highly committed to teaching and clinical medicine.
He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, a member of the International Society of Nephrology, as well as a member of The National Kidney Foundation.
